Joint Mission

I’m on a Joint Mission from both sides of the Rheum. When my 7 year old daughter developed Spondyloarthropathy (a spinal and systemic form of autoimmune arthritis), my source of info was a dusty volume at the back of the small-town library. Years later,  I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis & Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, and my son with Crohn’s Disease and Dilated Cardiomyopathy (heart failure), and eventually both sons were diagnosed with Classical Ehlers Danlos. Fortunately we share a genetic marker for Strength.  I’m a child of the 70s, former Alaskan, design nut, photographer, and distracted by Nature. I blog, tweet, and advocate laughter, creativity & fresh air as the best coping mechanism for Chronic Life.
